A complete list of all common laptop/desktop makes and models

Hey guys im looking for a database or a list of all the common makes and models of laptops/desktops, i really doubt ill get something like that but i thought id ask you guys in case you've came across something

mm im sure you can call all the manufactures and ask for a list, I wouldn't doubt if they have a huge excel document or database from the past few years, that would be my second look I Google it first if you haven't already.

A complete or database? That list/database would be very, very long and possibly outdated if something like that existed.

You should start your search by considering the manufacturers of desktop and laptop computers. i.e. Dell, HP, Sony, etc and go out to each website of that manufacturer - have you done that yet?

If not, if I were you since you're new and you're learning, I would go this route and as mentioned before, do a Google search.

Such a thing exists because I found it a few weeks ago: think I found it by putting in google something like "list of all computers". Wish I could be more help but that's all I can do. This was a very exhaustive list, incidentally.

im making the till software for our shop and im looking for a database to make it a little quicker, i know everything wont be there but im just looking for something to start us off and wew can add stuff as we go, i tried googling quite a it but i couldn't find anything, the reason i had the idea was because i was looking at one of the sites in the parts thread and it had pretty much every brand/series/model and i thought it would be a cool addition

Enter the systems as they come in. I'm sure there are other things to spend time on than worry about a list of all computers / laptops.

Here it is in MySQL format. It was part of a project I was working on but after losing most of my code I gave up. I can't guarantee it's accuracy or that it's up to date (it's not).

It contains over 35,000 entries. Mostly PC, laptop and server hardware.

Anyone can use it as they see fit, no strings. If you do use it, I only request that you share (that's a request, not a demand).

Compete list of all laptop's

Yeah i'm interested in finding a complete list of all laptop's made in the last 10 years. I know wikipedia is a good start but if anyone has already done the work in compiling such a list i would love to hear from you.
