Is it possible to have 2 ADSL providers available on the same phone line at the same time? Is that even a sensible question?

No it isn't possible. Is it possible to have 2 ADSL providers available on the same phone line at the same time?
That's the question! It may be a sensible question, but I don't understand it. How could there be two different TelCos providing service on the same line, simultaneously? and If it were possible, what would the benefit be?
ok, thanks. I thought this but wanted to check my knowledge before throwing accusations aroundNo it isn't possible.
Thanks!Any DSL service requires a separate POTS line for each provider/DSL line. They are all tied to a TN (telephone number), whether the loop is dry (no dial tone) or not.
Sounds good. Unfortunately that wasn't the plan. The plan was to change telephone/internet providers. What we got was the old internet service still active and the new internet service allegedly active but I can't find it on any of the 3 lines and I'm not too sure who is currently the telephone provider. You cant have two ADSL services on one phone line. However, you can have 2 ADSL services on 2 different telephone lines then bond the connections together. (Pretty sure the Unifi USG can do this cheaply).
If you were getting 12mbps on each line, it doesnt mean you'll get 24mbps though. It'll load share. The reason why is that a server doesnt know how to send a large file your two different IP addresses, so that download from a server will only ever achieve 12mbps.
However, you could be downloading at the full 12mbps on one line, and then Netflix-ing on the other without interruption.
