Hi folks,

I recently setup an email account on the 123-reg control panel. support@mydomain.co.uk which forwards to my personal email address and all works great.

I wanted to be able to reply to my customers via the support@mydomain.co.uk address as afterall this is who they contacted in the first place. so...

I see that 123reg offers a mailbox service for x amount per year etc but I was thinking.. Is there any way of setting the account up so I can do this myself without using their mailbox. Im not worried about spending the money but id rather learn to set these up myself.

They give me the smtp and pop mail server info incoming and outgoing so surlely there must be a way for me to set this up so that I can reply via support@mydomain.co.uk

I hope I have explained this okay and hope some of you guys may have came across this before.

Many thanks as always in advance!

Solved ! :)

Hi folks,

Thanks alot for your help. I discovered a great way to do it afterall.

I used google for domains and amended my mx records with my host machine. Its setup like gmail but with Outlook 2007

Just google it if anyone else needs to set this up!
