Repair Tool of the Week: Hidden Utilities XP

Hidden Utilities XP isnt a computer repair tool in itself, but a menu to access hidden repair utilities that are built into all copies of Windows XP. System information, diagnostics, repair tools and more in both Windows and Command Line utilities are now easily opened. Hidden Utilities XP includes easy access to 53 Windows tools and 43 Command Line utilities.

Press the “Launch” button to access items on the left hand side, and “Run” to run the command line utilities on the right hand side.

Been using a portable version of this for a while now. Comes in pretty handy.

Where is the portable version located? I sure wish more apps were portable, especially diagnostic tools.

I use a program called Thinstall to make some apps. portable. It wont work for all programs but it will for maybe 80% of them.

Yeah, I’ve tried Thinstall, good for the programs it is compatible with.
