Windows Repair Toolbox

Hi everyone, I've just released version 3.0.2.4 of Windows Repair Toolbox.

Here's what's changed:

### Added
- Upgraded the "AV Leftovers" functionality into a full application that I named "Antivirus Removal Tool" (it's now in the "Uninstallers" section). Besides helping to identify what Antivirus programs were installed in the past, the program will now also provide the official dedicated uninstallers (29 Antivirus programs are supported). Here's a screenshot:

- Added a shortcut to Ninite.com website (button "Ninite", in the "Useful Tools" section).

### Changed
- In the "Final Tests" tab, replaced "BrowserCheck" with a Speakers test.

- In the "Final Tests" tab, replaced "CrowdInspect" with a Keyboard and Mouse test.

- In the "Uninstallers" tab, replaced "AV Uninstall Tools Pack" with "Antivirus Removal Tool".

Thank you!

Hello everyone, I've just released a version 3.0.2.5.

Here's what's changed:

### Added
- For the "Windows" groupbox of the "Tools" tab, created two small console applications: "CHKDSK" and "DISM\sfc". "CHKDSK" allows to quickly run the most used chkdsk commands, and "DISM\sfc" the most used DISM and SFC commands. Here's a screenshot:

- In the "Windows" groupbox of the "Tools" tab, added the "TaskManager" and "DiskCleanup" buttons.
"TaskManager" opens Windows Task Manager. "DiskCleanup" opens Windows Disk Clean-Up. On Windows 10 it will open the "Storage" settings.

### Fixed

- Main window of WRT was being chopped off at the bottom in computers using low display resolution settings. This problem affected the last three versions of WRT. Thanks to the user Ken Knowles for reporting.

- Updated the download link for Eset Online Scanner, in the "Custom Tools" tab. Thanks to the user Beran for reporting.

### Removed

- In the "Windows" groupbox of the "Tools" tab, removed the "chkdsk c:", "chkdsk c: /r", "sfc /verifyonly" and "sfc /scannow" buttons.

Thank you!

Edit: thanks by the way to @fencepost for the tip here, that's what I used for the chkdsk app. Damn, can't believe that was 3 years ago???

I keep getting this warning when extracting the latest Antivirus Removal Tool.
I can add an exception to Emsisoft but when I run the tool it gets quarantined again.

Hey @Barcelona thank you for the heads up. It's a false positive, I think that setting up an exclusion for the folder, as @Blues suggested, might work (personally I always choose to "Extract to Antivirus Removal Tool\", so that everything stays inside that one folder). I'll probably be releasing the August version later today.

I must not be terribly observant... could you specify what exactly is different with 'minimal mode'? And thanks for all your work on this great tool!

Thank you. When running the tool in minimal mode, monitors will not start and information about the computer will not be collected and presented. This might be useful when you just want to quickly run a tool or some tools, or for computers where it might be slow or not be possible to start the tool in normal mode.

Hello everyone,

An updated version of Windows Repair Toolbox has been released, version 3.0.3.1.

### Added
- Ability to delete all tools in a section at once (added that entry to the right-click context menu over each button).
print1.png

### Changed
- Also added a border to the buttons of some tools that doesn't require to be downloaded.

- Some other internal changes.

### Fixed
- The cancelation of the "Update All" process by clicking the cancel button would only work while the download of a tool was in progress. So, if all the tools were already downloaded and updated, the cancel button would not work, and the user would have to wait for the checking of all tools. That was fixed, and the cancelation can now be done by simply clicking the ESC button.

- Removed the right-click "Delete Download" from FRST button (it shouldn't be there in that tool).

Thank you!
