Vista Standby Issue

I'm working on a Vista SP2 desktop that doesn't come out of standby properly. When you wake the pc a "usb devices not recognized" message pops up & it takes about 30 seconds before the keyboard or mouse start to work. The Windows noise for new usb devices found goes off several times while this is happening.

I installed all the newest drivers that MSI has on their website for this board & Windows is up to date so I'm not sure what is going on here.

There's a lot more in depth power settings in Vista and 7. Go check them out, as I recall there's USB power settings, I would be willing to bet it's putting your USB's to sleep as well and so it's having to recognize everything plugged in again after wakeup.

"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked for both the mouse & keyboard.
