This is driving me up the wall. Upgraded an HP laptop with 8 gigs of memory (was single 4bg) and an SSD with fresh Windows 10. Now the trackpad OR connected mouse does nothing but skip around (lag). Anyone got a clue?

It's probably an issue with the video driver. We run into that ALL the time with HP notebooks. Especially the 15 series. Try Snappy.

Mouse lag is usually a video driver issue.
