Our local Lenovo distie got a handful of ThinkStation P620 graphics workstation in for a promo. MSRP a hair over $10,000.00. Yeah..that's the price of a mid range server! But he got them from a special Lenovo promotion at about 40% of that! Was talking with one of my fabrication clients that does work for the Navy the other day, and for the heck of it..I mentioned it to him. He's like "Heck yeah, get me one!"
Just took it out of the box today. AMD Ryzen Pro 3955wx...has 16x cores!
64 gigs RAM out of the box, 1TB M.2, and an RTX 6000 graphics card with 48 gigs of VRAM itself!
Dual fore/aft CPU heatsinks.
Even has ducts over the memory banks each with a little cooling fan!
