Antivirus companies sold now have crypto miners

Well looks like most popular av are now owned by one company they have installed crypto miners Norton and Avira and Avast also AVG they make 15% not turned on by default but who knows if they don`t enable for free versions by default.

On a side note I see you cannot buy avira licenses anymore through antivirussales.com

Looks like only direct. I've got a couple clients that still use Avira...I've been switching to Eset Nod32 if they still want an A/V product.

Anyone dumb enough to use any of the products you mentioned deserve to have crypto miners or worse installed on their PC's.
