XP Pro Reinstall

Hi All,

If in XP pro or home I do a repair install, will my original user accounts and profiles be available to login, or will it leave just the docs and settings paths?

Basically I want to ensure that the SID integrity is maintained on the repair.

Yes.

Before you do a repair install, try and remove internet explorer 7 and 8.

Yep, and even if the system is set to log on to a domain, it will still keep it all intact. I'd make an image first since I usually have about 1 out of 10 RI's go bonkers.
