Got an Xbone One X. Barely used it.

Couple months ago went to update it and it failed and messed it up. After failing multiple times, it eventually was reset and worked. Was able to game on it just fine.
Stopped using it for months. Turn it on and it needed to update. Same dang problem all over again, but this time I cannot get it to work.

Tried:

• Offline reset many times
• Offline update many times
• Pulled hard drive, slaved to PC, used Crystal Disk Info to check for issues - did not use HD Tune to scan the surface for errors.
• Ran DiskPart's "clean" to nuke the drive (did NOT initialize as MBR or GPT partition), re-installed, tried offline update and reset many times

What 2 do !?

$249 for M$ to fix it. Taint no gud lol.
