What do you think about my business website?
Advice on the pricing and user friendliness of the website.
Is it easy to navigate is my goal clear?

It's all in Flash, so no SEO'ability

Enbiggen the phone number

Leave the Star Trek font just for your company name

Some of the text is too small (high perf computing, etc)

Not sure about the prices in red (might just be my eyes)

Nice icons :)

Should that be "doing things differently"? "doing things different" just sounds wrong to me

"We eve do what they don't do" - typo

Lose the gmail email link, use a proper domain

I like the services pages, much better than the homepage

Rexcellence? :)

Really nice looking site though

lOl, the "star trek" font is a placeholder and yes i have been looking into using a proper domain. That email address was also a placeholder until i found a replacement that I am happy with. I agree with your complaint about the font sizes, some of them do need to be made bigger. Funny thing about the homepage is that i don't even like it mysel, I been looking into changing it. Its one of the few pages that havent got changed much since the infancy of the page.

Not a fan of it, to be honest.

You actually get away with charging $150 for dust removal? Up to 3 hours to dust removal? You're joking here right? You include a virus removal with a tune up? You're virus removal is cheaper than you're tune up. I'd completely redo your services, and redo you're pricing.

Can I ask how you do network setup with remote assistance?

#1 Cleaning a computer "THOROUGHLY" requires dismantling the entire machine, removing all parts, cleaning under the motherboard, and ESPECIALLY in and around the heat sink. Spraying a can of compressed air in a case and calling it clean (probably what you do) is not cleaning

#2 Removing viruses is a big part of "tuning up" a machine. How can you effectively "tune up" a machine while leaving the viruses on it? That's the equivalent of getting a car tuned up without an oil change.

#3 Easy, setting up a home group, setting up a wireless printer, file transfers, changing router settings, even resetting your router etc etc. Can ALL be done remotely. Many router and network settings can be tweaked through the browser, network settings, and even in the command prompt. Are you even a tech?

Your post says it all, thanks! Man, you REALLY showed me.

I use an air compressor, but I guarantee nobody is going to pay 150 for a dust cleanup.. You can get insulting and snide, but you're the one that asked for advice/criticism.

When I replace a motherboard which includes a "board out" cleaning, I don't charge 150 labor.. that's just crazy.

If I just changed my oil, and the car doesn't need it, I wouldn't expect them to charge me for oil and a filter, when a "tune up" generally is spark plugs/timing etc, NOT an oil change.

Honestly, you're undercharging per hour, and then overcharging how many hours it takes..

About your data recovery page - files actually DO get deleted, especially if a OS is reinstalled, and hard drives go bad even past the point of clean room recovery.. I'd imagine you're gonna have some upset clients after reading your data recovery page.

build our own page.. I want to know what parts you're using to build computers for 300 dollars that are better quality than "most OEM"

Finally, general advice on the whole website.. Nobody is ever, ever, going to search "dust removal 'your city,'" You don't need to lay out every last service you offer on the webpage.. I suggest you read a couple SEO articles on this site, and research it in general..

$150 is incredibly excessive, I wouldn't pay that for someone to clean my house and my car! :)

I might be able to push £15 ($10?) for a couple of quick go's with my air blaster, but that's about all.

I'd like to know how many people actually purchase the Interior Dust Removal service.

Well, 300 dollars is a fair price not factoring in a monitor (most retailers never factor that in) and yes, an OEM motherboard with 1 pci express slot can go for 150-200+ dollars through the manufacturer. When you can almost find an equivalent or even better for MUCH less, usually 40-80 bucks on the internet. From this site

www.directron.com

And as far, as your critique on my pricing. Maybe your right, ill look into changing it around and lowering the price of dust cleanup to maybe 100. What do you think is a good price to be charging people per hour?

and I didn't have an attitude, his post was just more of an insult than constructive criticism.

Motherboard

MSI motherboard 50 dollars and their are some quality Asus boards for a little more...bare in mind this is all low end hardware. Low end but still high quality (from good manufacturer)

Don't forget that a motherboard knocks out the sound card, network card, and GPU. Something most users on a budget wouldn't care to have dedicated.
