Just an FYI. These new Windows cumulative updates can really hammer people using cellular hotspots to provide Internet connectivity for their computer devices. Ran into one this week. An older, weaker HP laptop which was originally 8.1 but upgraded to 10 appeared to get stuck in an update loop. I saw his Verizon wireless bill. Total bill was over $700 and $435 was in data overage charges.

Changed the WiFi connection associated with his Jetpack to metered and recommended he find a friend with DSL or cable to spend time with during updates.

They also hog every last drop of bandwidth while downloading. You would think being a background task it wouldn't take priority but hell no.

It's a major PITA because our service area has poor internet speeds. Majority on ADSL with less than 10 down / 1 up.

Even one Windows 10 PC downloading updates can cripple an entire office.

I've had numerous clients who have "WiFi Sense" on (or don't even know its on), their laptop/tablet that go visit their Mother/Father/friends etc.
The Mother/Father/friend has a basic internet conection of a say 2~5GB's per month, which very quickly blows out with Windows 10 updates.
