Microsoft fully ended support for Windows 8.1 Jan 10th (Windows 8 was a long time ago)

Microsoft fully ended support for Windows 7 year-3 extended support on Jan 10th

Microsoft supports ONLY Windows 10 and 11 now!

How to know it's supported... it has a number with an H i.e. 21H2 would be supported #### any version is NOT.

That's a generally good rule, but I think that at least one of the #### versions remains in extended support for businesses. I can never remember what Microsoft calls those Windows 10 versions that are dead for everything but that situation, but it exists. I know, most of us don't deal with that sphere.

The nice thing about both Windows 10 and 11 is that, except for Enterprise and Education Editions, if Windows Update is not broken it keeps itself up to date and in-support.

All of the 20HX and 21H1 versions are out of support for Windows 10:
