Rufus allows booting from UEFI.

From the latest version history:
Add support for UEFI boot, as well as GPT


So why not use it?

Add TRK and there you go

I recently erased a win 8 password, local user, using TRK on a CD, but had to change the Bios settings, in order to use the CD. After checking that it was indeed erased, went back and reset the Bios as it was. I am going to have the Rufus program ready so I won't have to go thru the Bios again. Right now, I do not have any win 8 in the shop so I can't test it.
I still have a lot of programs on CD or DVD, due to my client's old pc's, some won't take USB. Right now I'm fixing a Dell Optiplex SX260 that has CD, no DVD ROM!
