When I press keyboard or mouse computer will not wake up
I tried pressing power button to wake it up
I also tried holding power button in and it will not shut down only way to shut it down is to pull wire from wall.
When it starts up again it says restoring from resume and all programs are open as before

Its on site and I did not have any time only go into power settings and set it to never for going to sleep.
I installed a SSD with clean windows install about 9 months ago it started doing this a few days ago

Never come across this before.

If it wasn't for the power button not working I'd say the USB ports might be set to sleep and need to have the settings changed but that won't account for the power button not working.

Switches have been known to fail. If anyone was inside the case monkeying around they may have accidentally pulled the switch connector from the mother board. That's rather remote, but it is still a possibility.

Sounds more like someone got into the power manager and changed settings, or someone got into the device manager and change power management settings for the USB ports.

Let us know what you find out.

I honestly wouldn't assume its okay, I had a desktop that was doing this same issue. I replaced the PSU and no more issues after that. Nothing worse then this issue cropping up again and having the client calling you back that it is not working.
