Windows 7 screen flickering problem

This is so annoying!, I have googled this and looked everywhere, and still no solution, anyways, I'm pretty sure this is a driver issue but, here we go:

The image on my monitor keeps flashing, the monitor keeps going in and out repeatedly (image, black screen, image, black screen...), and this ONLY happens on windows 7, windows xp is fine. The graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 6200, and yes I know that windows 7 drivers still need some fine tuning, but really this bad?

There's no BSOD or error message so I suspect the signal to the monitor may be slightly "out of range". Try adjusting the resolution and/or refresh rate.

From your Video,you have flat screen monitor? not Lcd right

-Did you try another monitor ?
-could be bad driver install for Video Card
-Defective Inverter , Lamp, Controller board
- and was there some issues with Dell Monitors:

-Do you have on board video (on the motherboard, up with the other connectors) or an expansion card (in the bottom slots). If you have both, it could be your bios has switched to the other one and we just need to change it.
Other possibilities could be capacitors etc

I'm def. leaning towards monitor, video card or vga cable. Those would be the first three things I'd replace and see what happens.

This happened to me a couple months ago. I had to roll back the driver, that took care of the problem.

It's a CRT, and I'm sure it's a driver issue, but it does not matter what driver version I use, it still does it.
I reinstalled Windows xp for now, so i can actually use my computer.
In Windows xp it's fine no problems, so I'm most definite it's a driver issue, but I can't find a driver that isn't buggy for windows 7.

Video card upgrade time
You could pick up a decent 8400GS for like $40.00 which would probably solve the issue.

since you say it works fine in XP, and not in 7. I would lean this to software (driver) issue. There are ways to manually force the refresh rate and resolution in the nvidia control panel. Look for it. Poke around starting at lower rate and go up. see if you can repeat the problem from there.
