I would like to know what would be the best way to backup(image, copy,Incremental, Differential and so on) my C drive so I do have a good bootable copy to restore from. I, in the past have used ghost but the couple of times I did have a crash I was unable to get ghost to restore my C drive because it would have errors and that's even after having ghost check the image and showed it was good. I have been using NovaBACKUP software for my backups now for a while but I have not had to put them to the test yet. Does anyone out here know much about this software. I would also like to make a backup of my restore partition that I can save in case anything ever happens to my hard drive and I need that to restore another hard drive.

I am really not too sure as far as software goes. I actually have heard that Norton Ghost was pretty good. Acronis TrueImage is another option.

Whatever method you use, you really should put it to the test. Try to restore the image on another computer or maybe another hard drive. A backup is no good if it doesn't work.

As Phishie said Acronis true image is good. This is the program that i use for my self and reccomend to clients.

The following link will give you more info on the software and also provides a 10 day free trial, you should try it out and see what you think.
