Hello guys, I need a little help or advice here.

I need a new phone number for my business. I don't know which system or carrier to use. Should I use, Google Voice, Magic Jack, new cell phone service, Skype, etc. Any ideas?

I will really appreciate any help.

Thanks.

I am a vonage business partner and can get you setup with an unlimited VOIP phone service for as low as $24.99 per month and get you a discount on a VOIP phone as well. I have been partnered with them for over 2 years and have customers all over the US. Call me at 540-569-3160 or email at shawn@acscva.com and I will give you more info.

Are you a 1 man shop? Depends on your situation. Currently I am using Google Voice and it has suited me just fine.

Really does depend on your situation and needs. I'm a one man operation, and my cell is all I use. I was tempted to use google voice, but got too worried they might drop that service at some point.

Personally, if I were to get another number, I would get a dedicated business cell as I'm a mobile tech and verizon only charges about $10 for another line. If I had a shop, I'd probably get a regular pots line- about $25-30 in my area.

Unfortunately, Suddenlink doesn't provide service in New Jersey or I would recommend going with them. I don't often recommend one carrier over the other, but in my area they have made some extremely great improvements, where as Frontier has been lagging on repairing degraded telephone lines. You can get telephone only service here with every option imaginable, except voice mail, for $29.99 per business line. You can also get 50/8 Internet only for business for $39.99. You can also bundle them both only $59.99, which is the same as the residential prices, with the exception of having 5 static IP address on a business internet connection.

We are and on-site company and we use cell phones and can transfer calls between each other. You can use it with Google voice which also allows call transfers.

Yeah I purchased an additional number for $10 and had it forwarded to my cell phone. Has served me well and works just fine.
