Flat designs are definitely nice, the Help idea sounds good too.

I am not a designer by any means. I had mine done at one of the standard logo/design places online, can't think of it right now, but not fiverr.

I don't. This Icon is specifically for my managed service I am wanting to start here in the NEAR future. I need an icon for the taskbar they can click on to send me a help ticket.

To be honest I would keep it as simple as possible, especially if needing to make an .ico or small icon out of it.

"Help" in the logo would do the job in communicating to all levels of customer knowledge, but that's just one opinion.....

Mine was done at 48hourslogo too. I also had the winning designer make my business cards and letterhead. They give you everything including the .ai files so you can make or have changes made to the design.

NOTE: The green background on my profile picture is caused by the site as I uploaded a .png file.

They gave me files not only in .ai but also .png, .svg, .eps, .pdf, , .psd, and of course .jpg

So long as the service gives you what you want who you use really doesn't matter.
