What do you use for HDD SMART data reading?

I use HDD Sentinel as well. If you don't have an RMM you can sell a license for Sentinel and setup e-mail monitoring so you are alerted to any decrease in health or major events. Plus the user will be notified of any change. It's only like 20/30 dollars for a license so for the peace of mind I would say it's a win. Plus the developer is really good you can send reports for him to analyze.

There is no such thing as a "drive that isn't going to fail". I've got two SSDs in for warranty replacements right now because they failed. Faster? Absolutely. Impervious to vibration? Check. Failure-proof? Never.

Yes, but statistically far less likely to fault than a platter. Far more annoying to troubleshoot, and usually catastrophic when they go though.
