Weird looking disc?

They are also referred to as a "Business Card CD." I recall seeing many in the distant past - back when we used CD's for nearly everything (think: back before USB became so popular.)

I can remember those as well. Many times, before the Internet/Web got so popular, I'd see people handing them out containing product catalogs, etc. for the company they represented.
 
I'm used to the little 1.5 GB DVDs but they are round. I'm not sure I've ever even seen the business card DVDs.

I remember them being popular in the early to mid 90's. Those days I was working at a company that made pipeline coatings so went to a lot of industrial type conventions. The bigger companies, with more money, used to hand them out.

They were often mastered as business cards and handed out at events like COMDEX.

I got one once and it was infected with a virus right from COMDEX.

LOL!!! Never happened to me but I remember other's who had that happen. Even regular CD's at things like that were a risk.
