website critique

Its awful.

Perhaps consider reading the Website Critique section of the Forum, implementing changes, and re-posting?

I think that the fact people are viewing and not commenting is speaking volumes. You need to get a decent site up first and fully functional. Your Youtube channel has a kids fairground ride on it and your prices seem like you are not taking it seriously as a business. Cheap prices can put people off.

Have a look at www.theultimatetechsite.com and buy a ready made package.

I think you may have missed the point that Martyn was making, above.

If you want to be taken seriously, you need to put some work in; perhaps not just relying on this thread and hope people will just 'tell you' how to fix your site.

As I said above, the information is all here in the Ad Critique section, if you take the time to read it.

There's too much to comment on at this stage, and to be frank, its hard to take you seriously with the ridiculous prices and the stock photography of dubious origin.

It's way too dark. Also I am curious your posted pricing seems off. It looks like to me your charging more for Remote support than in person repairs.

typo actually thank u

the darkness i can not find a good template :( hopefully i will buy either the podnutz kit or the ultimatetechsitebuilder

I posted on your other request to check your site out. I would recommend changing your price to something more competitive. At least $80 per hour.

My prices are competitive maybe too high now that I switched them cause u guys told me to. 80 an hour maybe right for u but not my small town in wv

I wish I could charge those prices LOL

website

Hello,
I think its to dark, need some new images, for the web images are only a few bucks on like istock. The images just need to be 72dpi for the web.

The content is bit like a CV/resume. That blue header with the white text is horrible on the eyes. The fb & email logos have been scaled up & look quite bitmapped.

I do like the dark grey wraparound strip on the nav bar though.

I think you've been given enough tips, it really is like a kid has done the banner/logo. Get that done professionally. It's your image, it says a lot about you the same as a business card does. Spend a couple of hundred dollars on the website and your image and spend your time on what you are good at, it's not websites or design. Sorry.

thanks everyone for the help .... can we lock this thread and continue on the other thread I created.

By the way I made more changes.
