I'm interested in what suggestions you guys would have after looking at my site bluedogpc.com . After poking around the forum and looking at some of the other sites here I feel I may need to gussy it up a bit but I have always like my pages very simple and clean.

In all honesty, the best thing you could do is read through the critiques in this section of the forum. Theres an abundance of info here and this will give you a hell-load more information that a single thread possibly could.

Yeah, what 16k said.

By the way, 24 business hours is three business days (based on your 9-5 schedule):

Is that really the response time you want to advertise?

I dunno how I missed that typo, thanks for pointing that out.

Also, for SEO purposes, you may want to look into changing your Permalinks...check my site (by no means a finished product) for an example. I had those old "page_id" formatted URLs, but you'll get no love from Google and the big search engines at all really.

In wordpress, change the formatting to this:

Code:
/%category%/%postname%/

Checking the source code and the current permalink formatting was what told me you have WordPress (which i LOVE personally).

I'd add more in the about page after:

Derek has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University and is well qualified to work on your computer. "

For instance, how long have you been in the computer business or how long have you worked on computers or something that talks more about actual work rather than just education. People can be quite wary of those with JUST a degree. (I'm not denigrating the degree at all, but I'm assuming you have real world experience, too.)

Also, personally, I would leave off "well qualified to work on your computer" - it just sounds like, "take my word for it", but maybe that is just me.
