I am using BSNL broadband connection HOME-250,I can use upto 1GB per month, mostly i dont find time to sit infront of the system for checking mails n all.So can i use this net connection and browse via mobile..I know there should be a wireless medium between my system and my mobile phone to browse in my mobile phone. But how to setup this???I am using GPRS in my mobile but they are charging more....Can someone guide me to setup the connection...Thanks in advance!:(

There's a Java version of Gmail for those of us with phones that run Java applets. For those not lucky enough, well, the in-phone browser will work to access mobile Gmail.

If you're not using Gmail, well, you probably should be.

First then, you need to get the phone connecting to your wifi connection assuming your isp-supplied router supports it. Second, once the wifi is working on your phone, you'll need to set up an email account on the phone. You'll need your server names, username and password for the email account (available from your email provider). You'll also need the instructions for setting up email on your phone which should be available in the user manual.
