verifying certifications

Is there any danger in someone stealing your certification identity by giving out certification numbers? For example, if I were to put my CompTIA ID numbers on a service agreement so they know how to verify me..

Also, what's the easiest way for a prospective client to verify my CompTIA credentials?

Just enter cert verification code, which you can give to client.


Code can be found after logging into your compTIA cert management account.

Guess it really depends on who you are giving it to and if you trust them. Not that they would steal your cert or identity but sometimes they need the info...For example some companies working on their Microsoft gold partner etc need to show certs for employees etc.
