I am just curious what others are using these for in their business?

I cannot come up with anything to regularly post to them?

I'm lucky if I can think of something to post once a week on my FB business page. Remember, we're talking about not posting crappy "flog your blog" posts: "Need to get your laptop fixed? CALL US!". That is not content and is the fastest way to get someone like me to unlike a page or drop them on Twitter. Even if it's just "It's Maintenance Monday! Don't forget to check your backups!", that's something.

I cannot come up with anything to regularly post to them?

I usually use "tips" like safe web browsing tips or tips on buying a new computer. I keep it short and informative without sappy by-the-way advertisements.

I tend to post 4-5 days a week to my FB page. We do cell phone sales in addition to computer repair so we link to a neat tech article or that a new Android or iPhone app is out that people might like.

Yeah, I'm struggling too. I'm always looking to call out rogue links going around FB, like the recent 'free £500 Tesco's shopping trip'. But other than that, hmm...?

Will post some tips I think.

On my facebook page I'll ask questions, post industry news, tips to keep kids safe on the internet, things like that. I try to get discussions going and people interested and it seems to help. I have it set so that what ever I post on Facebook it will post it on Twitter, although they say not to do that. I also post coupons, and I have a welcome page that I will change periodically.

Social networking sites are also a good way to advertise your business plus the fact that all possible clients are already there. You can create there a page of your business and tag some of your friends so that they can also gather their friends to visit you site.
