Thumb Drive in Washer Machine

OK guys and gals,

My wife decided to wash my clothes and my Thumb drive went through the washer and dryer.

Well the good news is, It is clean the better news is it still works...

Just thought I would share that with you.... I wonder if it will work is a SSD

I hate to admit it but this happens to me pretty regularly. I just toss it into a glass of isopropyl alcohol and go to work when I get home I blow it out with air. Works like a charm.

Mine ended up in the washer and dryer, it doesn't work. I'm guessing the dryer did more damage than the wash!

My sandisk cruzer has been though the wash multiple times and accidentally ran over by my bronco once and still works great.

You basically need to make sure all droplets of water are gone, otherwise you can short things out
