im looking at this older Acer SFF desktop with the AMI bios.
It sounds 3 short beeps, pause, then short beeps
eventually it will start and seems to run ok
I swapped out the ram but got the same beep codes
interesting that AMI does not list 3 short beeps, only 1 long - 3 short (that I could find)
right now im testing the ram, its been 2 hours thus far (on extended) and no errors
I guess ill check cmos battery next if the ram checks out ok.
