In Melb Australia we get a news paper full of specials. It's called Smart Saver.

Check out this new ad in the paper this week.

I rang up this dodgy dude to find out how he can do such a great special. His response was "is like shareware".

Just a quick look through his software list i figured some could be trial software. I can't imagine it's all trial software.

Also it does say anywhere on his ad it's trial software.

Now i could be wrong, but it smells like one of these computer sellers we have all seen.

Has everyone missed the fact that it says its 9.2ghz? Out of a Q8200. At the bottom of the software part it says "Disk and license supply with all programs" which would indicate its pirate.

Everyone before me in this thread said its probably pirate. If hes installing MS-Office Enterprise 2007 on personal machines, he definitely is. But, I think its obvious anyway since Adobe Master Collection alone is about $1000-3000

i'm glad you guys noticed this, because i just picked up my copy of the smart saver, and literally spat out my drink while reading it.

It's clearly pirated software, and the seller is targeting the uninformed mum and dad users, who will see 9.2 jiggawatts, and go ohh that sounds nice, and buy it.

Being dodgy, and selling pirated software is bad enough, but to blatantly advertise it like this is just asking for trouble.

Either that or he's a REALLY terrible businessman . There has been discussion about this dodgy guy in other forums too.
