I'm working on a VAIO PCF132FD / PCG-81114L. The laptop was dropped on the right side and the power switch got stuck in. I disassembled the laptop and fixed the switch--a few pieces had broken off but the mechanism was ok so it was just a matter of cleaning up, reinstalling, and putting the laptop back together.
Now I have the laptop all together and booted up, I notice that the wifi doesn't work and it appears as though the switch is entirely loose/broken. I have tried to enable wifi through windows using the mobility centre, but it really wants the wifi switch on.
Does anyone have any experience with repairing / replacing this switch?
