Sony Vaio PCG-GRZ610

Howdy,
after 2 month of not even getting a phone call for computer repair. I got a call or a Sony Vaio PCG-GRZ610 to replace power Jack.
To be honest i never worked on those. i am trying to locate a service manual or how to disassemble this baby.

Yeah, it's gone quite alright. But I did get three calls yesterday, out of no where.

Be careful replacing that power port

well i can't help you with the service manual part, but i have a Sony Vaio that is simalar to this one. the top bezel (plastic piece above the keyboard) should have a screw on the left side. Remove that screw and the top bezel piece should slide to the left about 1/8" to 3/16" and then lift that piece out. after that the keyboard come out and the screw on the bottom need to be removed to disassemble it more.

Document all the screw positions and in what order they were removed, so that when you put it back together, you don't forget to put one back in.

It was easy

I figure out how to dis-assemble that laptop wasn't that hard at all

after replacing the power jack and put everything back together ... yaaaayayaya i got power. but wait the laptop doesn't power on. I see Green on the power LED and Amber in BAT 1 and Amber in BAT2. but nothing else. no fan no screen.
what do you guys suggest?!

Will it power up if the battery is removed?
Have you tried a fresh battery with no mains elec?
Have you tried a known working power supply?
