I know some of you aren't on Facebook, but it should still allow you to watch this if you click away the sign in/register request.
This guys shop will be trashed or even torched by the guy he maced - or his mates.
And probably not just once.
The shop owner will have to watch his families and his own personal safety as well.
Wow. I would NEVER allow things to escalate that far. If a client of mine forcefully took the laptop from me without paying, I wouldn't try to use force to stop him, and I certainly wouldn't mace him. I would tell him that if he leaves without paying that I will report him to the police for theft of services. Thankfully I've never encountered this personally, but that's exactly how I would handle it.
So what should he have done to avoid potentially getting his shop torched? Not trying to start an argument here. I honestly think there's a good chance you're right. But where does that leave people like him in situations such as those? I mean the shop owner gave the guy damn near 50 chances to leave, even after brandishing the mace. I'd like to hear others' opinions on this for perspective.
It should never have gotten to that point, to begin with. As @Porthos stated you collect the fee upfront and you have paperwork supporting it. The guy changed his mind about working on the laptop. It is not worth aggravating someone who doesn't want to do business with you. You hand it back and he leaves. Now the owner is going to face possible assault charges not to mention possible retribution as both actors look to be in that kind of neighborhood. It's gonna cost him a lot of money for $49 he will still never earn.So what should he have done to avoid potentially getting his shop torched? Not trying to start an argument here. Most states in the USA do NOT allow people to just carry guns. Most don't allow it at all and those states that do have often require licenses. But there isn't ANY state that would consider it legal to draw a gun on the shop owner in this situation. For a measly $49 I would have given him the laptop and got him to leave amicably, rather than risk the ramifications that I'm sure will come.
Is this in America? The guy is lucky he wasn't shot! Americans are allowed to carry firearms and the shop owner was probably lucky the guy didn't pull a gun.
When do people like that even care if it is legal or not.But there isn't ANY state that would consider it legal to draw a gun on the shop owner in this situation.
I'm in Texas and I have a LTC "License To Carry" permit and a CHL "Concealed Handgun License". However, unless I was immediately threatened, I would never use my gun.Americans are allowed to carry firearms

He still doesn't show what led to the guy wanting to end the work. The customer was upset but not impolite. The shop owner committed assault in my opinion and his showing this on the internet is going to get legal battles. I'm betting he gets sued within 30 days.Followup video:
TLDR Police didn't press charges.
Wow, you can tell that Mace messed him up big time, unless he's always half minded. "Racista" never heard that one before.
