Software I find useful

I use most of these and would like to add SpinRite for hard drive resurrection. Great tool that can get the client out of a jam.

Used most of software on jccrcomputers list plus: Process Explorer, Recuva, Autoruns & cintre

I also used RemoteZilla. So I normally copy the small setup program on the user desktop.

Haven't used SmitfraudFix in years. I guess it's still around. I remember it was similar to Combofix, which I currently do use...

Does anyone here use both? I'm wondering if SFF is still a useful tool for those who already use Combofix...

Combo normally does all and more than smitfraudfix but I still keep it in the repetoire, it has fixed somethings in the past that nothing else has. I use it less and less but for the size it's worth just putting in your "if stuck give it a go" folder.

edit:

Bootvis - i messed around with this a lot in the past, never seen a major difference with it though. Soluto was meant to offer more insight into the boot times as well but as I understand it, you remove it, you lose the benefits.

In all the software above, norton removal tool is the most useful :)

I've never used SFF. The guys at bleepingcomputer use it alot. I do follow the blog of the person who made SFF, his unlock codes have been a huge time saver in removing some of the scareware that moves shortcuts, blackscreen, ect.

Best of luck
