Selling Services on Amazon

Anyone else get an invite or already involved? I got an email, thought hey...might not be bad. Put in an application.

I hope I can do the remote only though, Google has an issue with remote only, they want a physical address.

EDIT:
So I got an email from them saying they will review my info and this service is only available in "certain geo areas" well, my address is in a small town, so I'm sure I won't be accepted. Maybe I will be the first remote company on Amazon lol. I'll push it!

A quick Amazon search returned 3 sellers offering virus removals for $25-$80 and at least 1 was remote. Ads were poorly written. Could be a good potential market as people trust Amazon.

Sounds good in principle, however if your inv is over $1000, your going to lose 35% as 'fees' to Amazon!.

If it's under $1000, their fees are only 20% this time..

I'm basically doing it for the advertising aspect, Amazon of course needs to make their money. Anytime you can get your name out there it's worth $$. I would probably stay away from $1000 and up jobs though lol.

@altrenda, I looked at google hangouts and it would def not be good for me. I checked out the pricing and wow...very low. None of us could do it for sure.

Thanks Lisa for the heads up. Another "online" service but at least they are coming into the industry segment with brand name recognition. I find it interesting that they seem to be completely ignoring the B2B segment. I'm going to submit a New Category request to see how they respond back.

do they allow a mobile tech Liza. I dont have a store front and dont want people to see my home address. It was a big problem with google plus. I know your mobile again did they accept your application?
