Edit:

These are the Wrangler Men's Strap Sandals that I purchased for <$17 at Walmart. They have a memory foam insole. They're comfy and my feet don't sweat that bad in them.

When I wear sandals, my feet sweat terribly, so I have to wear socks to keep them comfortable.

Last year I tried a pair of $75 Teva sandals that made my feet sweat like crazy due to them being made of rubber.

Which sandals would make my feet sweat the least. Birkenstocks?

I like sandals with straps on them.

"Choose shoes constructed from porous, breathable, man-made fibers, such as canvas and leather. Avoid rubber shoes, as these trap in the heat and moisture, making your feet sweat even further."

Perhaps find some socks that look like feet, with individual toes. Something like this ....

Or wear your sandals over a pair of these maybe ;)

Just buy some foot powder, LIGHTLY rub the foot powder on your feet before you put on the sandal. You won't sweat as much and your feet won't stink.

Socks and sandels.. is NOT a good look. But I think you need to look for something with a natural fibre sole.

Linus from Linus Tech Tips does it :P

In this case, my comfort is more important than what other people think. I can't wear the sandals I have worn in the past if I can't wear socks. I had been wearing low cut black socks with black sandals before.

I do this with my shoes but with sandals it'd look bad from the powder covering it all over. Messy.

They call it the land down under for a reason....
Wrong place, lol.
Australia is the "Land Down Under!....where women glow and men thunder.....Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?... You better run, you better take cover!... (Copyright, Men At Work.)
Sorry, couldn't resist.

New Zealand is just an outer suburb of Australia.

You know you can get antiperspirant sprays for this?

I probably should as I have similar problem but main issue is what do you do when your going to the river/lake/other body of water and your feet and sandals are going to get wet?

I found a pair of Teva's w/ leather and suede they don't sweat as bad and are easy to clean with leather and suede cleaners so to keep them from smelling and such.
