Sample Monthly Newsletter

Just wondering if anyone has a sample newsletter, they'd be willing to share? I am just getting into sending out monthly newsletters using MailChimp and wanted some ideas on topics I should include in the newsletter, layout, etc. All advice is greatly appreciated

This might be a biased response but here's what our newsletter looks like:sample

It's in PDF format but hopefully you can get an idea about the layout. The paid subscription comes with a fully editable Word format.

It takes on average 1-2 hours to produce a good article (from research all the way to the final layout). So factor that when considering how many articles you want to include in your newsletter. In our case we provide 10 articles in each edition.

You'll also want to provide the proper mix of content for your target audience (residential, soho, smb, and enterprise).

I reduced my newsletter format time to just 15 minutes by using my blogs that I write every few days. I cut and paste out the first paragraph, then grab the picture I used....done! Super simple. I usually put in 2 short stories with "read more..." and they go to the blogs then.

I don't have one handy, but if you check out my website, you'll see the blogs are the main page, and this one...already got 17 shares since this am. Good one for you to use if you like. It's going in my newsletter on Wed as it's real and it's trending and has a value add for business clients to read now. bad part, it has short shelf life.
