Sales person commission rates...

Ok wow some AWESOME info here. Tony, you REALLY seem like you know what you are talking about and im inclined to agree with your notions.

Some one mentioned persistancy, thats not a issue we normally try things for atleast 30 days (door to door, mailers, ect ect). Had the best luck off mailers but i see no need to pay a salesguy to execute a task that simple.

This month we are on the BNI idea, attending meetings, following through, ect. So we will see how that pans out - i have no expectations either way.

The guy is an AMAZING salesman skill wise i dont think he has enough exposure to do what he needs to do. I am also training him technically and he is getting it, i expect him to be an average tech shortly.

i like the donut idea and am contemplating that...

Thank you very much EVERYONE for their awesome feedback on this. Lots of food for thought.

30 days in my opinion isn't enough time, usually it has to be at least 6 months for any type of print advertising. Mailers, newspaper, sending out brochures.

As for BNI it might take a year before your known as the go to guy.

Some people really like adwords others not so much.
