I could write a small BOOK on my one year nightmare, maybe for another day.

I'm not in emergency mode "yet" but I absolutely must find another reseller hosting service. My needs are very simple, and low bandwidth, in a nutshell, I'm just hosting and supporting enough simple websites for my clients that what I charge them is mostly just to cover my hosting service costs. I like to play with online databases and play around with web hosted CRM and Invoicing programs, nothing major but hosting websites and email accounts for some of my clients helps me to play and explore website development at no cost accept my "free" time.

I began searching youtube for tutorials on cPanel to get off my BUTT and make some time to learn more of the hosting management elements....and I found this guy, see below. They are a small LLC with staff that actually answers the live CHAT and seem to be very helpful when answering questions.

Can someone with hosting experience please check this service out and post your opinion on this.... Looks like no hidden fees and bottom line is about $480.00 per year for the top level service, or $360.00 year for the middle service....which I think should do for me.

ALSO...if anyone has any VPS experience, please chime in....it looks interesting but I really don't think I have that level of skill to manage a VPS... I would very much like to play around with PostgreSQL, I have a DBA friend that wants to experiment with this database and leasing a VPS seems to be the only way.

These forums are the best support group I have found on the web......ever! Thank you all....

I have been with webhostpython.com for almost a year. I have managed VPS with them. They are very responsive and do not mind helping with support the things I am not comfortable with.

I like Siteground. We switched to Knownhost, due to good reviews from some trusted people, but it drastically slowed down our WP site. We quickly moved back to Siteground. As with about anything there will be mixed reviews.

Been using vultr and digital ocean for my VPS with plans as low as 2.50 a month they are great for small sites and just playing around.

Vultr is great, but I get $150 credits per month on Azure, so that's where I've been labbing.

Why not install Postgres on your own system to play with it?

I just have a droplet on Digital Ocean. Running cPanel for my sites, Unifi controller, and UNMS. I prefer rolling my own vs using shared hosting.
