I'm trying to make Repairshopr fit my needs.
I cannot link it to my QBO since it's all in french, it messed up some of my accounting.

So I'm trying to use it only as a ticketing (work order) system.

Let's say my tech onsite has completed the job...

How can he email the client with the .pdf of the ticket and the attached files (pictures) ?

I tried just adding a comment as closed but it just sends an email with the web portal for clients.

Thanks.

The RS ticket system emails the dialogs your tech puts in the comment boxes and if you uploaded pictures to the ticket you can click the drop down to add attachments under the labor boxes. We've never emailed a summary of all the dialogs of a ticket as the customer should have each dialog in a separate email but if you wanted to do this:

1. Go to the top of the ticket and under PDFs click Large Ticket, and then download.
2. Now upload the Large Ticket pdf file as an attachment.
3. Make a final entry in the dialog box and click the dropdown for attachments and check the pdf file and image files from your ticket.

That will send them an email with a full summary of your ticket and images.

The web portal is where the client can go view the ticket if they want. So that's probably what most people use.

By default that comment should be attaching a copy of the ticket PDF, are you sure it isn't?

There is a ticket tag available that will put images attached to the ticket into the PDF - so that might get you closer..

You could easily edit the ticket comment email template to say something like: "Here is your WorkOrder and photos - click here to view" and have that take them to the portal..?
