I have a client whom has Quickbooks 2006/7 - had winxp system. They have upgraded to 2016 version for new system. The issue is that I am unable to install Quickbooks 2006/7 on Win10.
Have tried -
Normal Install via DVD
Executable H: \.\autorun.exe had the following unrecoverable error: While resolving references to H:\autorun.exe: No section with Relative Virtual Address cc9900 in module H:\autorun.exe Section 1;data.009b000 - 000a28c8 Section 2;rsrc;000a3000 - 000aa000 Section 3;text:00001000 - 000aa000
Using combatability mode XP SP3 - this just goes through initial setup then after two screens goes to desktop and does nothing.
I cant Install newer version as when importing/converting old .QBB file it states I need to install 2006/7 to go through this process.
If Quickbooks 2006/7 wont install on Win10 wtf am I supposed to do?
Any help here with this conumdrum would be appreciated.
