Potential Logo

Hey, ya'll.

I have a graphics design student from the local college creating a logo. This is what we have gotten to, so far.

Please give me your thoughts.

Personally, I don't care for it. Kinda looks like what a graphic arts student would come up with.

I assume the box with all the legs is supposed to be some kind of circuit board component?

Yes, that is "supposed" to be a circuit chip. This is not the final logo. Obviously, it needs work.

To me it looks like the company name would be TreoTech.

I would try Fiverr.com - they have some pretty amazing logo creators on there and they all work cheap.

Not to hijack this thread but I gotta say, I tried Fiverr recently for a very simple logo for my wife's business. I was extremely disappointed even after going back and forth a few times with the so-called designer.

Not that I had a right to expect much for "a fiver", but still . . . Is there a trick to actually getting someone with some skills on Fiver?

Right on his Fiverr ad you will see some of his past work, and he has over 1200 positive reviews. Does a great job, and will even revise it if you don't like the first one he comes up with. Hard to beat for $5.

I was trying to give this student an opportunity. She is the daughter of a friend, and I've seen some of her other work and she is pretty good.

Guess I'll have to go another route.

I like the concept but the font needs to be changed.

What I would look into is putting Tre Tech inside the chip.

No,your logo is very amateurish ( is that a word?) and looks like it was done in mspaint.

I would highly suggest using a design service, 99designs is very affordable at $300 I designed mine.

Just be sure to come into it with a good idea of what your business is and what it provides.

I have been browsing the fiverr site for talented designers.
This guy does look pretty good. Did he ever give you the option to obtain the original PSD files for the logo/s you chose?
That has been the main thing I am looking for besides a good portfolio.

I don't know if he does that. I didn't ask him for them. You could just message him through fiverr before purchasing and ask if that's an option.
