I like 5, mostly because I have such dislike of the over use of a wrench in computer repair logo's.
I get the symbolism; however I have never once in 15 years used a wrench in computer repair.
A part of me can't let that go.

Yes, agreed 2 or 7. But the wrench should go away. Fiverr people always added hammers and wenches to my first go around.

I like 6. It really show that you are doing repairs on computers. Yes there is a wrench but it is in people minds that a wrench means repair.
Also, it has a nice looking IMHO

Thanks for all the feedback. So my thoughts...

I like 1 mainly because it's whats already on all my materials... But, i'm having a hard time spending the money to have these done and not using them though

Of the new ones for me its between 2 and 4.. I do like simplicity so 4 may be a little too graphical.

I agree with nline about the wrench... it's not accurate but most marketing isn't!

If you have an established logo why change it? It kills your previous marketing and image. Too many people want to change things because they are bored with them not realizing that while they are sick of it the public is only now remembering it. Old marketing adage is that it take seeing your advertisement over 21 times before it becomes memorable to them.

I just started out less than a year ago so it's not like i'm established and have branding. I haven't done much advertising just word of mouth.

Looking toward the future.... if I want to or should change I want to do it now.

Yea,

Like I said I get it, I just don't like it personally. A matter of a difference of opinion really. In my mind, with a name like ``BCPC Solutions" does
he really need a wrench to convery PC repair? Probably not, but if that works for them then go for it.

My personal preference for a logo is more based on building a brand, kinda like Pepsi, it has nothing to do with softdrinks but you recognize it instantly. Pair that with a name that represents what you do and you are set.

I don`t think there is a wrong answer here, just personal preference.

I don't mind the wrench. I like it personally. Yes we don't use such a tool but it effectively conveys the image of repair to your, IGNORANT OF HOW WE DO OUR WORK, clients. Which is more important? Being technically accurate or motivating people to call you over your competition?

I don't care for the wrench, but nline's right about the quick communication of repair. Frankly, without the wrench in your current logo the less....knowledgeable....potential customers he refers to might not make the connection between "solutions" and "repair".

But I have a pet peeve about using the word "solutions" anyway. It's just as overused but even more meaningless than the wrench symbol. No potential customer searches for "anytown computer solutions". They search for service, repair, sales - any other more specific word than solutions.

I voted for 7...don't like the wrench but it drives the point home I guess.

I'd like to see your current logo with "Solutions" moved underneath the other text and same width (so smaller font). THAT might be a winner. I like the font on the "BCPC".

Voted #7 myself. #3 the P is clipped off. #8 takes too much time to figure out what the letters are and I already know them. #4 is too "loud". Just my 2 cents. I also get the wrench argument however I did use a wrench on the last server rack I assembled.

I don't mind the wrench, personally I have one on my logo. Just depends on how you make it work. Mine has a square and the a wrench in the loop.

I like option 2 or 5

#5

the colors are soft and it's easy to put into other marketing: newsletters, online, print, etc.

edited: maybe ask for a font change....but I still love it!

Thanks guys and gals for the input. I think I am going to go with #2.

Just FYI - I paid 5$ for #1&2 and then $50 for an additional 5 with free revisions. I think the guy did a decent job and quickly (<24 hours) if anyone is interested in the users name on Fiverr shoot me a PM.

Brad

I think you made a good choice. I will PM you as well for the name on Fiverr. Doesn't hurt to add another seller with some good skills.

I'm honestly surprised this worked out for you. I tried fiver for a logo from 2 different sellers and only got clip art that was already out there. The sellers' tricks were to offer a refund though, so you wouldn't give a negative review. In the end I went with someone local.

Yeah there are some cookie cutter artists but you just gotta look around. Took me awhile to find the right one, but I constantly go back to that seller for repeat business. I think Fiverr is great.
