i cant figure out for the life of me how upgrade pcrepairtracker, i often have to reinstall the entire thing\

I think you need to put the upgrade file in the repair or store file on your web server.

From the instructions: You will need to run the database upgrade script "databaseupgrade-1.24to1.25.php". Log into PCRT first,
then place this file in your repair or store folder and run it from your browser and delete it when you are finished

Yes. You need the script in repair or store folder. Assume repair folder then browse to http://www.keiththecomputerguy.com/pcrepairtracker/repair databaseupgrade-1.24to1.25.php.

You may want to tighten up your security on your web server if your going to run PCRT on it. Your folders are browsable. Perhaps block access to certain PCRT folders via htaccess. If your not sure how to hop on the google. Or I can give you a hand.

Customer Details

What about storing customer network & setup details.
If you're out at a customers & you need some details for lets say some static IP setups where do you guys store your customer network setup info? Do you include any password with this such as asmin passwords?

don't think it has functionality for that yet, but it has been submitted as a feature request I believe.

I asked that a feature is added whereby you can add a file to the computer. That way if you are using SIW or a program like that you can attach the file with all the information they can collect. I don't know if it will be added.

I don't know of a SMS feature.
