Local store has had these on their Clearance page for ages.

I'm only even looking at it for something that I can throw on a system (eating the cost) instead of a free AV and, hopefully, pitch them a renewal next year.
The point against is whether or not it will update its scanning engine automatically to a current version. If it's looking at things from a 2009 perspective, it wouldn't be worth the risk of reinfection.

If memory serves me correctly, it won't work on a 64Bit machine. I *think* I have a couple of spare codes at work that you can try. Not sure of the top of my head. If you're interested, just PM me.

NB. I don't use Panda any more - I won a comp that I didn't know I entered, and got a few copies. My preference is for ESET.

I buy older licenses for NOD32 (and Norton Antivirus) when I can, and I have found that they still activate with the current software. It might be worth finding out if this product will work the same. Im a big fan of squeezing out every nickle of profit in this day and age.

Forgot about this thread till just now. I was just about to run out and give it a "what the hell" test on an x64 machine. Pulled up the local company's page and, it being "in-store only", thought that I should check local stocks.... LOL... they're got one license between ALL of their stores in Ontario. And they've kept it on their website for months.

I know with many AV solutions you can put any unused, or still active, license into their latest software and it will work I would spend the money on a copy setup a test machine and try.
