Hi,

I have a client that is having trouble sending "New" e-mail messages in Outlook 2007 (SP2.)

It works when you reply to an email or forward one, but when you send a new message, the recipient never receives it.

I have checked and new messages clear the outbox, and there are no errors in send/receive. I removed her e-mail account from Outlook and set up a new e-mail (she had to remove the account and set up her new email anyways.) and it's still not working.

Any idea what could cause this?

Is the mail deliverying straight to a pst? I had this problem before but the mail was being delivered to a pst and it had become corrupt A scanpst run did the job as far as i remember

Pop3 I assume? Did the test work in the config?

Do you have the incoming and outgoing servers correct? Ports?

I know many folks are using 110 over 587 now.

And the servers and/or AV programs may be allowing reply because it's already in the system. New may be seen as a violator.

What AV program? Did you turn it off?
