Online Backup for Network Drives

I have a client that has 3 laptops. All of the data sits on the Laptop1. The other 2 laptops map to Laptop1 to get the files. They are using SugarSnc to backup the folders on Laptop1 (which seems to be working for them well). I bought a Dlink DNS323 device and copied the folders/files to it. All 3 laptops are mapped to the Dlink, however SugarSync doesn't support network drives. Now if the Dlink were to fail than up the creek without a paddle. I am looking at carbonite, mozy or anything else that might be able to work in my scenario.

You can use Carbonite for Laptop1 where all the data is. Carbonite only does one machine, but in my home network I use Syncback to backup all my computers to one computer and then use Carbonite on that machine. I have about 70GB backed up to Carbonite.

I was trying not to rely on Laptop1 so that she could take her laptop off the network and not affect the 2 other users. This is the purpose of the small NAS. Now I just have to backup the NAS.

I have been doing some research and I came across IDrive. I started using the 5gb free and it will backup network drives. Is anyone using IDrive?

I have used crashplan to do exactly what you're trying to do. It's not officially supported by crashplan, but you can map a share drive as a system drive.

GFI backup will backup everything..

Get yourself a Godaddy online file folder and upload everything to that.

Would just need GFI for workstations. I can get these discounted for you if you do want to use GFI.

If the EU chooses not to encrypt some of their files, they can also use Godaddys online file folder to view, share and edit files on the go. Its a win either way you look at it. it comes down to just showing the customer how to use it, and its fairly easy.
