OnForce

I suggest you stay away from companies that want to be the middleman for outsourcing work. I did work for one and hated it and quit. A few months ago I was contacted by another and worked out a decent deal, but then they wanted me to pay for the background check.

I was wondering if anyone has used the site onforce.com for on-site jobs. Is it worth it?

I've been doing OnForce on and off for the past 4 years. It has its pros and cons. I've seen the pricing for work orders go down.

On the other hand - I've had a few big work orders ranging from 2 days - 3 weeks. If you do a good job, most companies will send you the work orders directly.

If you need more info just PM me

I have been doing WO's for Onforce as well. I have learned that you make a new offer on most all work orders, and it will get approved. The prices have went down but they will approve more money on the work orders.

The only buyer I caution to stay away from is ITI it is mostly TV repairs. Yes they pay quickly but they seem to screw up every WO they send me, wrong parts, no return shipping, etc.. I have 2 WorkOrders left for them and I am done accepting WO's from ITI!

I used to do a lot of OnForce workorders. When my own business picked up its more profitable and thus I do that over OnForce. but if I get slow, or its a particulerly good paying WO then ya i go do it. Only ever had a problem from one buyer who sent me to repair something they had already sent someone else to fix. They didnt want to pay anyway. But OnForce made them pay, so that worked good :-)

I've gotten direct WO from the better buyers. I recommend doign the Pizza Hut ones. They are almost never as hard as the WO says. BUT they are all about the details. On those I often make a offer for more and they accept. Usually its a 20min job and a hour on calling and getting approvals and paperwork.

On OnForce and all 3rd party jobs I keep extremly good notes. I note everything even details I dont think matter. the buyer appreciate good notes...

I used to do quite a bit of work through Onforce but since prices have went down the tubes, I can no longer afford to do any of the work.

I keep my eyes open and occasionally consider it.

Whoever said ITI is a dead beat is absolutely right.
