One heck of a party tonight!

Here's an idea for some.

For over a month we've been hard at promoting a party at our office...."Celebrating our 10th anniversary".

Advertised heavily with local Chambers, local BNI chapters, pushed hard on Facebook. Mailouts to all clients.

Raffles giving away a brand new HP Elite system with 19" LCD monitor
$100 gift certificates to several high end restaurants
other fun give-a-ways for raffles.

Having it catered with a bar
Got a big tent for outside
Also will be in our offices.

Had an article done in the local newspaper...who sent a reporter to interview us.

The town first selectman just came and visited us, congratulated us.

Should be fun...colleague and I having our first glasses of wine now, expecting people to pour in in around 30 minutes. Expecting probably over 200 people based on RSVPs so far.

Seriously, though, congrats on 10 years! We're coming up on that in May. I'm planning to do some of the same as you. For my bigger clients, I'm taking them to St. Louis for a Cardinals game, dinner, and a night on the town.

Went very well.....our place was PACKED! Went through a lot of wine 'n beer. Great time! Colleague and I did some speeches in front of everyone...by the time I was up..had quite a few wines..lol. Heard I was cracking people up.. (don't remember much).

Following morning though..wife 'n I headed down to NYC...and our 3 day weekend there was cut short, had to rush back home..and then rush her to emergency clinic..they had me rush her to the ER at the hospital..went into emergency surgery early the next morning. Long several days at the hospital...didn't work much over past week. Been a blur! She's doing OK now. Related to gall bladder (not stones..although one was in there..but not cause of problem)

Scary about your wife though, glad shes ok though. Tell her we hope she keeps getting better.
