Good call. I've got the quotes from Dell printed out and will see how they feel about that vs about the Amazon Glacier solutions and see what they want to spend and go from there. But this thread does at least give me some good options so if they say we'd rather have XYZ then i have some fallback options for them. Will let you all know what I find out later today as I'm sure everyone will be curious.

Just giving an update. It looks like they are considering Amazon Glacier S3 or Glacier Deep Archive. Or maybe a combination of both. However, for onsite storage, we didn't get into that part yet, so will probably bring that into the ring another day. Sounds like at this point though, one or both of the Glacier services, and probably initial backup with the Amazon Snowball.

What the network topography? If it's not all GB then that needs to be addressed as well.
